A Brief Study of The Jiroft Style Stone Artefact

Abstract - This research is looking at some selected Jiroft style objects to examine and conclude their classifications based on manufacturing techniques or their pattern, this aims to classify them for further research in the future. The authenticity of objects in market challenged by quality measurements which classified at this research and makes it easier to identify them. In addition to this, this research will focus on examining and assessing the materials used to make the Jiroft style stones.

Shahr-i Sokhta (Burnt City) Board Game

We are proud to announce that Sam Jelveh from the Persian Wonders team has successfully reconstructed the board game for the first time in collaboration with Dr. Hossein Moradi from the Shahr-i Sokhta archaeology site, who provided archaeological data. This board game is the oldest in Iran and arguably the oldest board game in the world, dating back to around 2600-2400 BC, similar to the Royal Game of Ur.
